You'd honestly be better off with a backstep followed by Basic Slashes. The backstep is completely unnecessary, and greatly decreases the hit range of the weapon, with the little benefit of dodging an attack. You might be able to hit downed opponents reliably with this, or maybe dodge certain ranged projectiles, but this isn't going to be something you'll use often. Lower Slash: Fairly slow, and has bad drawback time with no invincibility. Safe to use, but won't hit for much and far from spammable. Upper Slash: Shrot ranged and fairly slow, but has a long invincibility period. Until the recent update, having these hits blocked meant getting thrown, but the recent knockback buff made this less common. The invincibility interval of the second strike is a nice bonus. The two strikes are aimed directly at the enemy's head, so this combo will do some good damage.

I'd say it works quite well, serving as a good combination of speed and strength.īasic Slashes: The basic slashes are surprisingly fast for a Legion weapon. The one-handed sword (technically Arming Sword) is now the first weapon you get introduced to when playing the game.
